The Guy Peck collection documents Peck’s devotion to history through the documents he acquired and includes those on education and business practices. Records date from 1795-1979 with the bulk of the material dating from 1915-1940. Specifically, records document the education and life of Conrad or Conard Williams, an African American man from Eden, Maryland who studied at the Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute, and the secretarial training of Elva Chandler who attended Goldey College in Wilmington, Delaware. Monetary transactions are also documented through a wide variety of receipts, goods purchased and accounting practices from different Eastern Shore families including Hitch and Ruark. Military research on the 1943 Algiers Campaign and correspondence from an enlistee to his mother during the Korean War is also included.

Levin H. Campbell Family papers

The papers of the Levin H. Campbell family document the extensive family lineage of the Campbell, Hicks, Hooper, Goldsborough, Denwood, and Hollyday families of Dorchester and Talbot counties, Maryland. Records include handwritten family histories, newspaper clippings and comprehensive biographical information, original and facsimile, were acquired over the course of several decades by Hon. Levin H. Campbell, a direct descendent of Zacharias Campbell and date from 1777-2002. Of note, is a vital records diary begun in 1844 by Levin Hicks Campbell (1820-1868), which was maintained by family members through the 1940s. The diary also includes pages from the Campbell family Bible, and notes histories of Zacharias and his son, Levin.

Physician's Day Journal

This collection contains most notably a photocopied Physician's Day Journal and Ledger. The day journal spans the years from 1882 to 1887 listing patients seen, payment and ailments. The last pages contain birth records, noting medical specifics of the pregnancy/birth from 1882 until 1926. The original of this journal is housed at the Fairmount Academy in Fairmount, Maryland.
